Plaque is formed on each tooth and, even worse, in the tooth spaces. Unfortunately, not even an intensive daily oral hygiene routine at home gets the problem under control. But modern dental professional tooth cleaning can get it under control. Hard and soft plaque are removed and bacteria eliminated and thus caries and periodontosis prevented.</p>  <h2 style="clear: both;">How does professional tooth cleaning proceed?</h2> <p>The oral cavity is thoroughly examined and the amount of plaque analysed.</p> <p>All calculus is removed from the teeth and tooth spaces.</p> <p>All tooth surfaces will then be smoothed and polished with a special paste. Discolorations effected by e.g. coffee, tea or cigarette consumption, are eliminated even in places which are hard to reach.</p> <p>We remove stubborn stains with an air flow device that is also a very good antibacterial activity, especially in the interstices.</p> <p>Finally, all surfaces will be varnish-coated with a fluoride, which provides effective protection against acid attacks of bacteria. Furthermore we show you the best brushing techniques and the choice of the most appropriate toothbrush.</p> <h2>How much does a professional teeth cleaning cost?</h2> <p>The costst depend on the time it requires. We would only be too pleased to counsel you.
